"Vegas! - The Show" Official Opening August 5th was the official opening of the "hottest show" on the strip, "Vegas! - The Show". After an entire month of previews (aka soft opening) the show now had the chance to shine for the reviewers, and the producer's VIP guests. The day before, they were still making changes, rehearsing, and working hard. For Joseph Gabriel, an unexpected music-track change right before curtain for his Liberace puppet was one of the nerve-wracking moments of an opening night event. No one seemed to notice that the music was brand new to him. Later on, during the show, Gabriel had the chance to blow away the audience with his legendary bird act favored by Johhny Carson, President Reagan, and many others. As Gabriel was performing, his birds realized before he did, that all the lighting was completely different. All these last minute "surprise" changes still did not make a difference for Joseph Gabriel's press night success. World Magic Show Awards Joseph Gabriel recently completed shooting the “World Magic Awards” television special to re-air April 29 on the MY Network TV.
